Palau de Congressos de Catalunya
The Palau is located on Avinguda Diagonal and is one of the major commercial and financial centres of Barcelona. It has an auditorium with a capacity of 2,027 people and over 4,000 square metres of exhibition space, besides 35 meeting rooms of different sizes. The building, designed by the Arquitectura Ferrater y Cartañá studio, was awarded the National Prize for Architecture in 2001.
Centre de Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB)
The CCIB is also known as the Forum Conventions Centre. It inhabits the site of two buildings that were built for the Barcelona Forum 2004. The convention centre, designed by the architect José Luís Mateo, is a multi-functional space that houses 38 open-plan meeting rooms on three floors.
Opposite is the Forum building, designed by the Swiss architects Herzog and DeMeuron, which houses a 3,140-capacity auditorium connected to the convention centre via an underground walkway.
World Trade Center Barcelona
Located in the heart of Barcelona’s port, a few minutes from the centre, this business centre was inaugurated in 1999 and has over 5,000 square meetings of space adaptable for any kind of meeting or convention. The 5-star hotel Grand Luxe occupies the same building.
