A new visit lets you discover the secrets hidden in this hundred-year-old building after dark.
To celebrate the Centennial of La Pedrera, this iconic building invites visitors to discover its secrets in a new presentation, The Secret Pedrera. It’s an intimate, different, and highly sensory route to discovering all of the building’s nooks and crannies in a different way, in the peace, tranquility, and magic of the night.
The intimate and sensory visit is led by a guide in small groups, which allows visitors an exclusive way to enjoy the building. Along with the most architecturally significant areas, the visit also includes one of the flats, where visitors go back a century and become direct witnesses to the life of a bourgeois family from 20th century Barcelona. On the terrace, La Pedrera’s most iconic area, you’ll find the amazing chimneys, popularly known as “warriors”, as their shape recalls petrified warriors keeping watch over the building. The visit ends with a glass of cava and exceptional views of Passeig de Gràcia.
In the tranquility and magic of the night, the visitor becomes a privileged witness to the lives, customs, and stories that took place in this singular residence, which is now turning 100 years old. The Secret Pedrera includes museum exhibits brought in especially to highlight the building’s most magical aspects at night, and it’s available in seven languages.
