L’Aquàrium de Barcelona, located in the city’s Port Vell (Old Port), is the world’s foremost Mediterranean-themed recreational and educational marine center.
A unique spectacle that over 14 million people have already visited, and the ideal place to learn about the deep sea, with a total of 35 Mediterranean and tropical aquariums housing 11,000 specimens representing approximately 450 different species.
An immense Oceanarium, unique in Europe, where you’ll find species as diverse as gilt-head breams, moray eels, ocean sunfish, rays, and sharks, with an 80-meter submarine tunnel cutting through it.
